Flood master here...
Home owners, at leat my policy only covers flooding if it is caused by pips bursting or sewage back ups. Accedintal overfloows like this, sump pump mail functions tanks braking are not, UNLESS you are paying for it. And the only way you are paying for it is if you asked for it. For All State to cover a flood from a tank would cost me $44 a month. Not worth it IMO when the dehu and fans will do the trick. And the idea that dry wall is ruined when wet is wrong. If it satys wet for a couple days it is, but if dried out in about 24 hours there is no issue. I had 3" of water in the basement once and did the clean-up. 6 months later I tested it for mold and mildew. NO ISSUES!
