I want a rose BTA for my 10 gallon nano reef. I want to get a pair of pink skunk clowns to host in it.
Tank specs:
10 gallon standard
96 watt PC 50/50
hang on filter with filter floss and carbon
fission nano skimmer
power head
crushed coral
5 pounds of LR (plan to add 5 more already cured from main tank)
Tank specs
very steady 79F
ph 8.3
sg 1.025
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 10-15ppm (not adding anything until that drops to a steady 5ppm)
ca 440
kh 90
Inhabitants:
one striped damsel
a few mushrooms that hitched in from my main tank...growing well
some chaeto and caulerpa (doing well to lower the nitrate at the moment)
Now, assuming I can get this tank very stable, I want to add a BTA. The damsel isn't a permanent resident. He will be gone in a couple of months when his owner moves into a new house.
Will a damsel fall into a BTA?
Do I have enough light for one?
Will the BTA protect the skunk clowns from harrasment from the damsel? (although the damsel is very peaceful with other fish he has lived with, who knows if he might have a bad day.)
Thanks,
