No, the whole tank is not starfire. The front is low iron glass, the rest is regular glass.

Ok.. you asked for it... so here it is. A new and unique tank lifting approach, to try to minimize any heavy duty lifting. Although I had a few heavy lifters on hand in case of emergency.

We used an airbag to lift the tank. Here are the pics...

Tank sitting in front of stand... being readied for the lift

Air bag being placed

Up she goes...

higher... look ma no hands and no heavy lifting

Push off the crate onto stand

Finally... on the stand !

Completeing the framing....

Now the real fun begins...

I understand that sentiment about the wife all to well.
Mine has recieved two sets of furniture (up and down stairs) and a new washer and dryer. All for a simple tank build. Jeese.
