I have no fish in my tank. I have no idea on what fish I want. I was thinking of a nice colorful fish other than clowns and damsels. For a 58G there is not much.

Rob, here's the stocking list for my tanks :

40g breeder (same footprint as yours) : flameback angel, flame cardinal, twinspot candy hogfish, fridmani pseudochromis, and a radiant wrasse

20g high : pair of percs & a royal gramma

Hope that helps ya.

Peace,

Chip

Really? 100g? Wow my 100g tank looks WAY bigger than that one.

It's 90 gallons. Confirmed that today. Part of the small appearance is the framing, which cuts off the edges of the tank. It's also much wider than it appears. I didn't get the exact dimensions, but it appears about 5' x 2' footprint, but only about 15" tall. If you go on the right side of the exhibit you can see the tank from above and get a better perspective.

It also has a huge sump, of course. Might be around 120 g or so, just an estimate.

My niger does'nt bother any inverts. Clams, SPS, LPS ,softies crabs, shrimps, anemone. It only gets rowdy with the other fish at feeding time, other than that, he's a gentleman. That being said, I have heard that nigers can be anywhere from big babies to terrors, depending on its personality. Also, I think your 58 is too small for this fish.

I gave up on the trigger idea. I still have no clue on what to get. I am very limited on what is available here.
