The flames definitely court and it is enjoyable to watch. I also have a pair of lemon peel in another tank that do too. The regals not so much, but the male really accepts the female now. He used to chase her behind the rocks, but never really hounded her. He did take the occasional nip at the tail just to show her who was boss I guess. Now he leaves her mostly in peace. They can swim right next to each other, or pass within inches without him taking a swipe at her anymore. It's much more pleasing to watch that way.
