Hi. I have an IceCap Quick-Disconnect Male Receptacle for Icecap Electronic Ballasts. I'm going to wire it to a reflector and have black, white and green wires coming from the reflector. I know the green is ground and the black and white are hot.

But I don't know how to place the wires from the reflector inside the Icecap receptacle. There are three pins that look like a triangle. Are the bottom two for the black and white? I've included a picture of the receptacle. Thank you so much!

Take it apart and have a look, I can tell you that for what the plug is used for , yes black and white on the bottom and green on top. But icecap is using them for their use, so pop off the cover and take a look

When you open your plug, you should have three screws. I'm guessing two brass(gold) and one nickle (sliver)

The center screw is ground. Connect the green
The white wire goes to the silver screw,
the black wire goes to the gold screw.

Either that, or look at the end of the plug. Right beside the pins (right side of above photo) there will be a little "N" "G' and "L" (white green and black, respectively)

Thank you. I figured it out. It had a N and L inside the plug. Yes, it is the new Icecap ballasts.....

Ok. Thanks. I was wondering how a different fixture was connected to their new connection.
