Lost my squamosa today. Have searched all forums yet could not find anything to help. Had this fellow for 3 years and grew from 5 inches to 12! I was really proud of this clam. Pulled it out today and took a look ... only thing I could find odd was some sort of lime green "pod like" thing swimming in and out of the shell (outside of shell). Could not really find anything obvious (no worms, rice size critters, etc.).
The clam had been getting doused with sand from my green wrasse lately, and this may have been a contributing factor. My other clams look OK so far, but am concerned this may be something that will spread. Any ideas? Thanks
