Well yesterday was sad. My son has had a tank set up in his bedroom for some time. He is 9 now and when he was 3 or 4 I got him a pair of clarkiis (sp?). In his tank he had a candy basslet, the pair of clarkiis, a yellow blue spot goby, and a hawkfish. Most of the fish had been in his tank for a year or two, but the clarkiis he has had for many years. They just started laying eggs a few months ago and were on a regular pattern with the egg patchs getting bigger each time. Well he wanted to play his PSP in bed the other night and the battery died, so he was trying to find a plug and un plugged his JBJ 29 gal HQI nano's wavemaker. His wavemaker just alternates the two return pumps. Well he never plugged it back in and since there was no flow left in the tank he lost all of his fish.
Most of his corals are fine but he was pretty sad when I was saying goodnight last night and noticed his dead fish. I think he learned his lesson on unplugging his reef equiptment.
