I have a few questions pertaining to two separate lighting systems. I was getting ready to order some bulbs today and realized a few problems. I recently bought some used equipment, including a Coralife electronic ballast (actually two of them), 96 watt, with a square pin plug. I was going to order some compact fluorescent square pin bulbs for them when I realized my plug differs from the standard cf end cap. Mine has a round end cap with a 1/4" lip around it (the pin holes are about 1/4" apart), whereas the standard type is an oval that the whole end of the bulb fits into, with tabs on either side. What do I have here, and what do I need? Are they compact fluorescent ballasts or something else? Are "compact fluorescent" and "power compact" synonymous?
