There's really not much to see yet - old black gravel and a twisted piece of 'rockwork' and a pretty orange fish. I will take a couple in the morning once the cloudy water settles down.

It was very easy to set up - plug the filter in, screw the light cords together, plug in the moonlight cord, and slip the filter cartridge in - the bio balls were already in place. Well add the rock and the water... I have some African gravel/shell on order but I may just go ahead and convert it to a little fowlr or soft reef...

Since Lawdawg started a thread a long long time ago, I can't shake the idea of starting a small fowlr tank.

I'm not sure why I want to see pictures. I am either really interested or I'm just trying to live through you. :)

I want to set up a smallish tank, but am waiting a year or two until the best LED fixture "settles out".

Everybody and their mom is making them right now and I want to see what design holds up the test of time.

At work I just got a set of 4 TrueLumen Pro LED strips from Current USA. They are bad ass. But for the price, I'll need to see if they hold up over a humid/salty environment without burning out.

Just set up a fairly simple one while you wait - nerd alert but it is very very exciting setting up a new tank every so often...

OK EddyP - sorry for the low quality pics - I'll try again when the sun is lighting the room. The glass still has a haze from the gravel - I'll wipe it off when I switch out the rock-work in a little while...

Jim in the second pic I'm sure you will notice I am out of fish food...

Believe it or not she moves those large stones all over the place. I switch them out every few days with some shells, a glass, odd piece of plastic. She plays like a puppy...

It is a hard tank to aquascape - I think I might glue some thin pieces of slate together and see if I can make it a little more attractive. I also just ordered the 29 gallon cube - the extra room will be good for her and might be easier to decorate...
