Something on tangs gills

Does anyone know what this white stuff coming out of the gills can be? It’s on both gills. It just appeared a few days ago.

Possibly an infection? Pic under white light would be better to see it.

Does anyone know what this white stuff coming out of the gills can be? It’s on both gills. It just appeared a few Cool Games days ago.

It looks like excess gill mucus. Fish will sometimes produce and shed mucus from their gills when they’re irritated, which can happen due to stress, minor parasites, or a recent change in water conditions.
