I have a new client that wants top of the line everything for his office....
I was thinking of going with a glass 125...
Deltec skimmer
Pump( not sure but thinking of going with what I know and that's dart pumps on the last 7 set ups I've done)
Lights 3 lumeracs 250 mh 14k or 20k ushios( maybe even those new led lights)
Sump/refugium definetly..... Probably 125 also..
You know I have to through in the denitrifier...lol
Dosing pumps instead of calcium reactor because I don't want to be there everyday...
Salinity,Ph and Temp monitor all in one definitely...

I'm sure I missed a couple of things...So I need you guys to help me out with the dream set up... For someone else..

Tell me about your top of the line piece of equipment and was it worth it???

This will be my 5th high end tank and they usually start off with cheaper equipment and call me back for expensive upgrade so this should be fun...

Why a Deltec skimmer? Price is in no way indicitive of quality. I'm not saying deltecs aren't nice but you can get the same thing if not better for a lot less money. I don't know how much you intend to mark them up but a deltec won't leave you much room. Also, what kind of tank is it going to be, reef/ FOWLR/ FO/ etc.? If the reactor is setup properly it doesn't need daily maintenance. Maybe a few extra trips at first if there is something slightly off but not daily. Besides, high end isn't just the equipment you use it's the people behind the setup more than anything. I've seen incredible tanks built on simple and cheap equipment and amazing setups that never work right.

I would go all starphyre glass or Elos even makes custom tank sizes and they only use crystal now. If you have ever seen an Elos in person the clarity is unreal plus they come painted in any color from Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, Bentley, etc. It's the actual paint from them not replicated. Plus their controller is amazing.

sfiligoi lights look nice and have a nice spread on them but there are better lights out there. Are the lights going to even be visible? Need more details on the setup bob.

I've seen the Elos tanks, J's right they are awesome in construction!

I have not seen their controllers. one thing that's cool with the profilux is they sell "lighting" sticks that will dim, and create storm effects you can simulate a thunder storm over your reef, KA-BOOM, just what you need LOL! (sound effects may cost extra)

The Elos controller depending on options and equipment can replicate several different environments (such as Amazon, reef crest, lagoon, etc.) with the push of a button (down to maintaining PH, wave effects of varying intensity, and photoperiod, etc.). Plus with the SMS attachment and bluetooth bud you have internet access and if it senses an issue it will call you or you can dial your tank and from your phone turn lights on and off or pumps or whatever. It also has self help functions should heat go to high (starts with turning off lights 1 at a time and so on) or other issues arise. We're actually working on getting a custom tank done in Lambo metallic orange with the controller for the showroom. It doesn't match the decor but who cares....it's so hot lol!

Ya the few Elos tanks I have spec'd out were clinched when the wife walked away and I said "By the way did I mention they come in Ferrari, Lambo, and Porsche paint?" lol. :sgrin:

They have one Ferrari red tank in their book and that's it. I think the fact that if you dent your light or stand or scratch it you need to go to a bodyshop and order the actual touch up paint for it lol. "Hi, I need a small bottle of Ferrari Fly Yellow....for my fish tank. That's how I roll!"

Lights

This is getting alot of buzz but I can't see anybody paying over $2000 for a fixture. Here and the controller that elos makes looks like a reefkeeper on roids.

if price is no option use a red dragon return pump. a bk internal skimmer. aquacontroller pro. call jim for rock. he is curing some marco rocks as far as the other equipment i mentioned try aquarium specialty and reef exotcs here on the site. they have great stuff at great prices

He drives a Spyker.... For those who know what that is so that paint matching the tank thing might be right up their alley...
