In order to deal with the huge amount of livestock and drygoods that have been given to us for the swap, we are making a few changes to the layout of the event.
Auction: 1:00-2:00 - Strictly cherry picked items! Livestock from: ORA, Dr. Mac, House of Fish, Greenwich Aquaria, House of Fins and our member community. These items will be picked from what is available and there will be a limited number of items. Do not hesitate to bid on these items, we will not have a second round!
Raffle: 4:00-5:00 - Drygoods and livestock. You can buy tickets at the swap and deposit the stubs in buckets for each item you would like to win. Winners will be announced from 4-5 PM. You must be present to win. If you do not pick up the item we will pull another winner.
Quickbuy Bins: Items that didn't quite make the cut for the above will be in individually priced bags at the MR table. You can purchase these bags immediately. We promise that every single item will be a great deal and the bins will be full of items for the true "crate diggers". We will be restocking the bins periodically throughout the day. Again, we will be getting a LOT of items and anything that does not make the cut will be here, expect a ton of cheap SPS, zoanthids, and other strange items.
Fragging Demo: Tristan Wilson will be demonstrating fragging techniques. Most of the fragged items will be given away, some unusual ones will be placed in the quickbuy bins.
Pest ID Inspection Station: We will have the inspection crew working overtime to show you how to identify and dispose of those pests! This includes preventive dips and baths, a microscope to see the pest close up, and ID cards to help you identify anything you find at home.
