ok so has anyone received an order recently? I've tried calling and emailing but get no response. I understand if he is behind in shipping but an estimated delivery date would be nice.

I just spoke with Marc and he told me they are working on getting all the Fiji rock backorders out today and Monday. If you ordered that you'll receive a shipping notice in your email. Next week he'll be working on getting more nylon rods, and other aquascaping supplies.

I've ordered marco rock in the past and have been very happy with it, I will also say I have ordered the eco rox from bulk reef supply and was very happy with that as well, Two different types of rock too which was cool for diversity.

I really like the look of marco rocks. I visited the eco rox site and googled up some other forums where folks posted pics and did a very general comparison. I think I'll order up 10lbs of australian spaghetti, and see how I like it. If its a good try I'll get more for a project I want to do.

Though, has anyone used eco rox/reef bulk supply 2 part system? You can get 2 gallons of cal, alk and Mg for 50$ and it gives you cool pump bottles and salt mix! I need more reviews of that before I really consider it though.

I ALSO ASKED THIS QUESTION IN A DIFFERENT THREAD...B/C IT WAS RELEVANT FOR BOTH. Sorryif this annoys ppl....Still waiting for an answer.

I dont get it....arent marco rocks completely new, without any life at all on them ever?
There was never anything living or dead on these rocks, correct?
How can they cycle when there is nothing in them? I thought the cycle happened b/c of die off, which causes a spike in...nitrates,etc, which leads to a spike in amonnia....

Why would these marco rocks cause a cycle?

The Marco rock's i'm sure comes from coral beds that are found on land, so i'm sure at one point in time they were alive. That being said I don't think you can cycle a tank with just marco rock, but it can cause a cycle with established rock since there is still junk on them and things can still leach out of it.
I'm not an expert on marco rock, i'm just saying what I think.
