I am just starting to read Isaac's Storm by Erik Larson. It's about the biggest hurricane in history that happened in Texas and killed over 6000 people. Greatest national disaster in American History.

Maybe it could be the Book and Video Club :scratch: ... the Blue Planet series would fall into this category.

Watching a video doesn't necessarily mean being lazy, it's just another medium for understanding/learning...

The idea of the book club was to get people to read, not watch a video.

A book club can also be audio/podcasts. The lectures at the swap should have been recorded and shared amongst those who would have preferred to listen to them at a later time.

I read in the last issue of Coral Magazine, that there's also a CD version which makes coral ID a breeze. So far, I could only find it for sale in Australia.
