Yes, this is still happening. I'm been a bit busy with school since this semester just started. Everything will be finalize this Friday. I'm still searching for a place that will accommodate us and not break out pockets, with bars in the area for the after party as well.

MR get together + drinks + b-day = bad first impression.

I am down for the 25th thus far. I think drinks is a better idea than dinner. We would all be confined to a table rather than floating at a bar. There is a bar on 6th Street between Ave A and Ave B called Joe's Bar. Nice place and the prices are student friendly. The bartenders are ultra friendly and would be more than happy to have us there. Just a suggestion.

Some of us can't drink so what's the incentive to pay 6 bux for a 10 oz soda that's mostly ice? Q's dinner idea covers all bases.

Damn, this is one tempting get together. The later the better for me, as most of you know. Hey, maybe we can find a bar that will let me bring my own lounge chair and Yankee blankie. :lol2: J/K

As each day goes by, I get closer to being able to say, yep, I can do it. Q, you're bad for starting this get together........I WANT TO GO.......... Who knows what another 2-3 weeks will do for me. You never know, the master could be in da house, for a little while at least.

Why not just drinks and light munchies then at some other venue in Manhattan? I can check with a friend of mine who is a retaurant guru who knows inexpensive places in, yes...Manhattan!!!

There are plenty of bars in manhattan that will give you a coke for less than 6 bucks, some will charge 2, and will accomidate you if you dont wish to have a glass full of ice. I personally dont want a ton of ice, half a glass at most. but thats me.
