Ha ha this is too funny. When I saw the video I anticipated the answer because we have them all over the glass also. Not much to look at in the tank either. Hubby has been buggin' for days thinking they were those lil' starfish developing.
They kind of look like snowflakes IMO. That was the only description I could come up with, was going to post asking but had no pic and snowflake LMAO

It's a Motic DS-300. It cost around $80 from a lab supply company. It is basically a toy. I tried to get a professional one donated from the Sea Grant program at USC but they didn't go for it.
I think I can get some decent images and video out of it if I invest a little more time in the wet mounts. My wife gave me a box of depression slides that should work much better next time.
I think it was $119 at the time but this was a floor model (the last they had, so they sold it to me for $79.) Let me see if I can find another retailer.
