well this is great.
I got home and found my bedroom much warmer than it should be,
my a/c had a malfunction.
this would not bother me but the a/c was the chiller for my QT where all my SPS are being treated for red bugs. the temp had gone up to 89, double crap. I turned off the lights and put fans on the water and floated some ice.
I'm cooling it down, slowly. it may have been at that temp for a few hours at the most. the normal temp of the tank has been 80.
how worried should I be for long term effects? has anyone had this happen before?
as for the a/c the metal grill where the air is taken in had frosted over, there was no air at all being sucked into the a/c. does anyone know what could have caused this? I noticed for the past few days the a/c was producing much more water than usual, I thought it was related to the weather. I let the grill defrost and turned the a/c back on so far after 20 minutes no frost has formed. Do I need a new a/c?
