Scheduling Blackout

With the heat wave might be better to start the black-out today. Going to turn off my MH and just have the actinics when the light came on today

Considering how hot it is going to be, and the fact that it is supposed to last through mid week I might follow you along but instead cut my MH photo-period in half for the next few days during the height if the heat as I'm sure even the A/C will be working full time to try and keep the house cooler.

That's what I did today I turned off my MH justt5 actinics are on!

Wow what a coincidence that I found this thread... I will be blacking out until monday just to see how my Sps react.. and to make sure my tank stays @ 78.6... I will post the results here also.. So that will be 3 days no light on my Sps... I have done this before, but now I will check all pars...
Right now everything is normal
Calcium 500 on a sali kit
Alkalinity 4.11 on a sali kit
Magnesium 1470 or a little more.. On a sali kit
Phosphate 0 on a sali kit..
Nitrate 0 on a sali kit..
Ammonia 0 Sali kit..
Nitirite 0 on a sali kit..

I am originally expecting some type of die off somewhere... But don't think I will be able to notice with these test kits...

All acro colors are bright as usual... And anyone of the 6 people that bought some off of me this week can attest to this..lol
I will test again monday night and wednesday night...

I was 2 weeks ago, the Nana is beautiful and doing well. Definitely one of the purplest nanas I've seen. Thanks againt man, and next time I'll try to meet you in the right place:splitspin
