I've done some scuba diving with thr wife in Florida, some of the islands like jamaica and we did 6 dives in hawaii. Those were awesome. We had just gotten our underwater camera and took some nice shots. saw 2 sharks and a whole bunch of VERY lage turtles. New to Reef world, so did not look for many SPS or LPS, but they were there. Highly reccomend diving in hawaii!!!

I've dived just about every spot on St. John's (USVI) and some of the BVI's. lots and lots of coral but never knew what I was looking at until I started getting interested in the aquarium thing (the diving is what got me interested). I would have to say the diving is better in the BVI's though. Lots of nice healthy reef. Valley formations, shelves, walls, the works.

Best dive was when I touched a 6 ft nurse shark who swam next to me for about 2 minutes. It let me touch it's pectoral fin. That was a great dive.
