Refractometer..

What's the matter with my refractometer when it's all blue and doesn't show a line??? A level of salinity???
Does it need to be recalibrated??
It's been doing this since I got it.. It goes back and fourth from working to not...

you may have somthing loose on it mine did that when my kids played with it mine was not hard to fix you just need distilled water and set it to 0
