we are really not sure how long they are going to be in kentucky. I'm really trying to get them here in the metro area. I might fly down to kentucky and drive back to Slidell to access the damage. at least if I go with them i am Licenced to carry a gun anywhere inthe US they will be protected. it's a sad state down there.

NYPD, glad to see you'll be going, I am sure that given what was shown on TV etc, with Looting and all, its not going to get any better. As people get further into desoeration, they do differnt things. So, good that you'll have that. Be careful though, as people have acquired guns from stores from looting themselves.

I hope the guardsmen get things under control soon, having to carry a gun in the wake of a natural disaster just sucks.

nypd, maybe they know of someone with small kids. if they do, please get an address of where they may be and i will send these out with my own funds. i was going to take them to salvation army, but they will not be sent there. i see all these babies baking in the sun with no clothes on, and it is so sad. i wish i could donate more. i would really like to head down that way and help out, but in reality i know there is nowhere for me to go and nothing that i could do, so please if they had friends with small children and know where they are and have an address please pm me with it. ialso i am trying to find clothes for you to send. i had just given away most of mine about a week ago, but have a few people who may be willing to donate some.
