What's DF&S?

I think one big lesson is that whenever you buy rock (cured or not) always put it through the "super salty dip" procedure before adding it to your tank! Unless it's coming from someone's tank who you know didn't have one.

I wouldn't be so quick to call it a mantis. I have seen some neon green shrimp hitchhiking in SPS. They are bright neon green all over, with dark black eyes that look translucent. Try and get a pic if you can, I know it sounds impossible, but these green shrimp are actually very rare and pretty cool too.

ronen - that's funny you say that. i was so paranoid when i set up my 55 gallon tank (being a newbie) that i 'made myself hear' a mantis shrimp. i went freaken nuts. i tried to isolate the rock from where the clicking was coming; and i pulled out quite a few and dipped them in freshwater. there were a few times i was 'sure' i had the right rock and i killed it. never found the damn thing - LOL!!!
