HELP NEED WATER and RO/DI unit broken

hey everyone, so I have a little issue. I bought a mighty mite unit and it isnt working properly. I called Don and he is sending me a new one without a problem. However, I need to buy my live rock by Monday before the sale is over so you think i should just buy some nutri sea or any other suggestions?

I know someone in bklyn who sells di water for about 1.50 a gallon it is also treated with osmo prep

If you have to cure the LR nutri sea is good but a bit expensive. JMO

its because im waiting for the tank but the rock is on sale so gonna buy it monday and keep it in this bin i have with the saltwater and my ro/di unit is defective
new tank and new ro/di unit be here wed. then its game time

Who are you buying the LR from? I'm sure if you pay for it they'll hold it a couple of days, just explain your situation to them.

If you want to make a trip up town I'll give you RO water.

yea i tried but the store doesnt hold for anyone they said. hahah
im just gona buy 8 gallon of Nutri sea and dilute it out a bit and then use that and then if everything goes well i can get my tank and new RO/DI and fill it up with that.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
otherwise im getting money back for aquapod 24 gallon and getting JBJ 28 gallon with 150 watt HQI
anyone like this tank? opinions please

just go to Petco. They have pure saltwater. It?s a 5G box for 12 USD. I?ve used it and it?s not bad for an emergency

Some distilled water companies use COPPER distilling coils. Better to ask the company about what type of coils they use before you use store bought distilled water.
