Ok after eading some here is what i think, you should think of the set price for one person let say $15. Once that is set then add on form $5 to $10 for the guess so it look more attrative for a member to bring a guess. Kid under 12 or 15 free and everyone else the set price, the only issue i see will be a family group.

It should either be everyone pays (minus kids) or +1
I think plus one works out better altho I did agree it might keep people away who are iffy by charging each person but remember sometimes iffy people spend money 2

I like the pay a little more for a +1 but in reality this event should be everyone pays, because renting these area's isn't cheap and MR doesnt factor in the time people take out of their days to prepare and set up and clean up. 20$ is not alot to spend, even if you charge 25$ or so for the +1. The added person for free makes up for it. Then you add on the free food, the amazing speakers, awesome selection of goodies, the grab bags, auction, ..... And most importantly the company of people that attend the swaps.
25$ is alot of money to some and could go to another frag during the event. But why not help out and help pay for the event so even more stuff can be done during the swap or the next one. As far as i would like this poll going everyone should be clicking the "i would give anything to be in the swap" option And everyone browsing the forums should have a Donator tag under their name. =0)
Im still waiting for sign ups and people complaining the entrance fee is too much and it should be a free event. =O

The second option is a little more complicated as we have to keep track of all that stuff, but it does help get new people into the hobby (and there are a lot of people that became members after being dragged to a swap).
Also, one thing to keep in mind is that we try to price the swap to cover costs. If you add up the number of people that attend and paid admission, then add up the money raised from vendor tables, you are basically at our cost.
Essentially, the swap doesn't make money to offset site costs until you factor in the auction and raffle.
That being said, we will price admission as close to even as possible, which makes this poll important for those people who can't make it if we make everyone pay (i.e. families with people above 15 years old).
