A poor, overprice, and unhealthy coral selection. The fish selection is decent and the prices are average but they DO you a lot of copper in their systems.

Selection seems hit or miss. Some days the tanks are completely empty.

They used to have a really nice show tank though.

They're also glass tank builders. I think they build large tanks for the Brooklyn Aquarium. I bought my RR 90g setup from them in '89. That was the place to get a RR tank with a glass brace back then. Still have the the receipt, :lol: $1480 for tank, stand, trickle filter, return pump, two NO light strips, tax, delivery & setup.

Warren, talk about price tag.. A 90 for $1480, ouch. Didn't know you were that wealthy, back then . .ahhaah.

Trickle filters were a "god send" back then, and I don't quite recall many glass tanks that were reef ready. I remember regular glass tanks by Perfecto, Odell. At the time, I was also looking at the Clarity Plus systems. It was a honking 55 or 65g acrylic tank with a filter system built into the acrylic stand. Price tag for that baby was $2599

I was thinking of thousand Island Aquarium on Utica ave.

World Class is overpriced on EVERYTHING. The staff has bad attitudes as well, especially that Heman Munster looking guy! I do think their LPS/Softie showtank is very nice though.

I find that he is not over priced on building tank or sumps ,,,,other thing yes ,,
but he was alot cheaper on building me 3 tanks than 1000 Islands ,,they rip you off on building stuff ,,
also you can get some good sales everynow and then from WCA ,,,
Im in there all the time ,they also have a good selection of parrots ,since i have 2 of them,,,i have ot buy parrot stuff ,and i like the parrot they have ,they are so playful,,
