Swap Volunteers

I'm hitching a ride with someone else. Depending on what time we are there if you need anything from me Kris Please let me know. I have no idea what time we will be there since I am not the driver.

It seems there is a bit of malaise (a vague or unfocused feeling of mental uneasiness, lethargy, or discomfort) regarding the cleanup phase of the upcoming swap.

House of Fish (aka Saltwater Critters :biggrin: ) will step up to the plate to try to help motivate our MR members for END OF SWAP volunteers. This offer goes out to the first 10 people to volunteer for the END of swap cleanup.

HOF will donate a frag to the first 10 volunteers (who register with Kris) and who show up and participate at the end of the swap clean up. Kris (nanoreefer22, who interestingly is only 21, not 22 :scratchch ) will coordinate and organize the list of people, dole out the responsibilities, and handle the distribution of these frags. So please post here in this thread and/or contact Kris by PM, RB, email, snail mail, morse code, smoke signal, sign language or any other method you deem appropriate and let him know you are putting yourself 'out there' for his abuse and mostly his guidance for the clean up phase of the swap.

Remember, we'd all like to think that everyone is volunteering because of their grandeous hearts, so don't let this 'sugar cube' be your enticement. However, if this is what it takes to help get this segment of the swap finalized, then so be it. HOF will be happy to make this contribution.

Right now I haven't even yet RSVPed because we're not sure if schedules will collide to make this swap. If they do Craig and myself (Sybil) will be able to arrive earlier traffic willing to help the morning of.

Question that bothered me the last swap. We left as the crowd dwindled down to bare minimum and I couldn't help but notice most that attended obviously didn't know what a garbage can was. Food plates, food, wrappers, papers, were EVERYWHERE. Is that typical? Personally I was disgusted by that behavior, especially since everyone there volunteered their time from this site so we all could have a day to enjoy with other reefers. I just never realized how many reefers are slobs. :irked:
