Anybody know where to get a ball valve/union combo?

As the title says I want to combine my ball valve and union in one unit i have seen this but Fishtown wants like $50.00 for one ..i know they have to be here cheaper..If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it...Thanks Sal

got mines from lowes like 15 or 20 bucks if i remember correctly. home depot does not have i have looked

Has anyone ever had problems with theirs ?I read somewhere somebody said they bought 2 and 1 of them leaked so bad he had to redo the system?? Are they worth usind instead of seperate valves and unions?And does Lowes deff. have them I dont wanna drive to LI if not..Thanks,Sal

i use the ones from lowes on my tank no complaints . i have opened them to fix gurgling problems and still have no leaks

I've been looking at the ones BRS sells. True-union.

Lowe's for me too. The person who had a leak might have been missing a gasket (might have, can't say for sure). But if it leaked the way you said, it's possible it was missing.

FYI, whenever I buy any product that requires a gasket, I ALWAYS uncouple the union and check to see that all the gaskets are in place and none are misaligned and crimped, which could cause a leak too.

The single union ball valves from Lowes are not water tight when the union is uncoupled.
The double union ones are fine but very bulky compared to savko.
