i was looking to but a dremel to frag hard corals and wanted some andvice on which brand and model should i get. cordless or not. also i have a rock i would like to break to seperate some corals, can a dremel be use for this operation.

Dremel is the brand. as for the model it depends on what you plan to do with it? If it's only for fragging and minor here and there get a cordless unit. If you planning to use it as a hobby tool, (routing, etching, fragging, fix minor things around the house) I would opt for a plug in one. (The origianl dremel, i got was for making models it's over 10yrs old and it's still working)

I wouldnt get the cordless, the batteries never last as long as the rest of the unti and you dont get the power you get with the plugin models. definitely get the variable speed one though.
