Well i know that title was intriguing but heres the story, for some reason my buttheaded clown wants to host in my clam. LOoks like the clams is trying to tell th clown get out you SOB but he wont listen, and this is the bigger clam too..it just retracts, he goes away, reopens and they come back.

What to do?

I had that happen to me once along time ago. The derasa clam was annoyed at first, but then it got use to the clownfish and didn't seem to mind. It was extremely COOL!!! to watch. The clownfish figures out also how much it needs to rub up to the clam without it getting upset.

It may be a really good thing! Be patient and see what happens.

Thanks for the peace of mind guys. I guess there really is nothing I can do about it. I'll just wait and hope for the best.

Kris, i had a goby that did the same thing. Make sure the clown doesn't try feeding the clam, that can cause problems.

that darn clown never fed anything in my tank that it hosted. darn little pig lol. it will most likely move on anyways, he never did settle, at one time he was hosting the torch, frogspawn, and anthelia all at one time
