Great examples of MR spirit!

I would like to take this time to say that MR is the best community out there!

Some examples I can think of from the swap are:

1. Kigs Finding and making Marc's clam safe and being honest about finding it!
2. Wingo's phone finder!
3. Fry Paying it forward by winning that 55g cube in the raffle and then putting it back in the mix for another reefer to win!
4. Ming doing the same thing with that 55g cube!
5. Noodleman giving his raffle prize from reef nutrition to a friend with a mandarin because he wanted to make sure the fish ate!
6. Domboski giving me 2 under tank reptile heaters for free even tho he was initially selling them.
These reasons are what make MR the best community out there! :grouphug:

What about Bob's rocks, giving the community another cost efficient way to keep PH in good parameters, against the dreaded calcium reactor low's... When it was thought that high ph from aragocrete was a bad thing...
Yes, I have ran the rocks for longer than 1 year with no ill affects... And one of my rocks have been in a nice system for 3 years... But I did start making rocks from learning how to make them from G.A.R.F. Before I was a member here @ OUR beloved Manhattan Reefs..
This is a great community for learning and expanding our knowledge of the earth's reef system..

Yes, it does require a little bit of research and knowledge of chemistry to calculate parameters and system volume to create a rock that won't push the PH too high.. But we all have the ability to learn..

OK putting my personal business out there:

Although I am totally broke do to our family increasing from 2 to 10 I went to the frag swap because I wanted to see my extended family and to pick up my 2 little frags. I had only purchased 1 lonely little frag from lazibones, because I just could not pass up the opportunity to have the most beautiful of the Bird's Nest in my tank and I was able to squeeze out $15. And Nanoreefer had a frag for me from the DBTC. Which by the way is the reason I even brought along my little cooler bag.

To my amazement there were gifts for me!!!!!!!!

Steve from WWOF blessed me with a gorgeous Ricordea!

Mike/slamajama blessed me with a frag of a white tip torch and a frag of Triple Red zoas.

Alex and Kiwi tricked me and blessed me with a plate coral.

Frank/FrankAriaga once again blessed me with a frag of yellow pagoda cup.

And last but not least was the hug I received from Chief. That hug felt like God Himself came down from heaven knowing how badly that was needed.

Thank You All!!!! You not only made my day, you made my year!!!!!!!

Well I went to pick up a Iwaki Pump from a member of MR that he sold me for only $25 and end up with a free acrilic sump 36'x15'x18 with 3 bafles he was very kind.Thanks MichaelP.

Almost forgot; Twistedteg/Jay was not only willing to give me a ride to the Swap, but was willing to go to the swap earlier then I would have been ready and return to Queens to pick me up and take me later on in the day!!! Now that is Love!!

i had 1 guy offer me a reactor and 1 guy wanted to give me more money for rocks i sold him because he had some of my old mushrooms on the rock because i wrote a thread about me being out of work due to the economy.MUCH LOVE FELLAS.
