CA reactor pump cavitating

Does anyone have any idea why the Eheim pump on my reactor would be cavitating?

I shook it and basically turned it upside down to get all of the air out of the chamber. I took the pump off and put it in a bucket of water to test it and after getting the air out it started right up. I put it back on the reactor and it gives off the just tiniest clicking sound every now and then.

Does anyone know how I can verify that the circulation pump is working properly? I can't see anything moving in the reactor and I want to verify that the water is circulating.

turn feed pump off and tak e top off or loosen to see if it is moving water, thought the same thing on my ca as well, mine is easy to check it though

cavitating meaning bubbles in the pump and it isnt starting? if so , It happens to me a lot as well for my eheim 1262, i just shake it, plug and unplug and let it run for a little, the magnet gets stuck and fails to spin.
