Does it have a fat fairly round body? If not, it is not a cucumber.

If the body is really small and has "feet" that are grasping the rock then it could be a basket star or crinoid.

Have you recently added any rock to the tank?

I can't really get a good view of the body. It does seem to be round, but it's in a small hole in the rock so I can't see the entire body. I took the rock out, but it's still really hard to tell. Except for one frag I picked up this weekend at the swap, I haven't added anything to the tank in almost 4 months, so I don't know where this guy came from. I don't add DTs or the like, so I don't even know what it's been eating.

it looks like the arms of a baby basket star, but they filter feed right?

it also looks like the funky antena's of some other creature, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun

keep a lid on the tank.

we need tom to go over with his camera and 90mm macro lens and get a good shot of your creature

could be a spaghetti worm, I have them all over my LR, especially if they all extend out of a hole in the LR and then retract back in
