I got an acan from Marrone at the swap and I havent seen it open at all since putting it in the tank on Saturday night. I was just wondering if these tend to take a lot longer to aclimate or are they very sensitive and difficult to keep? Can anyone could suggest something that might coax the little bugger out?
Everything else that i got at the swap is doing well, so its just real frustrating.

Try low flow, low light area. Acans are really hardy and it should open up in no time. Take a look at them and hour or two after your lights are off, they should have their feeding tentacles extended.

Good luck,
Steven

Currently it just looks like a piece rock - kinda white with no evidence of any flesh at all. I'll have a look when i get home tonight and see if there's any tentacle action

My acan is also about to meet its maker, i.e. flesh coming off.

Michael, I think that you stressed it out too much with the fragging and all.
