Who killed the Blood Shrimp?

I really doubt it was the Marine Betta--possible of course, but not likely IME. I had one for nearly 15years and never bothered shrimp or anything else, I have another for about 3 years now that also doesn't touch anything.

Either it is a molting issue as described above, or the shrimp died and then was torn asunder by various candidates.

That is what I said Randy. I doubt it is my betta as the poor thing gets chased away by it's own shadow. He/she has been with me for 3 yrs. now 2 in this tank. I've never seen it bother anyone.
Definitely NOT a molt. I know what a molt looks like, there was meat inside the shell guys.
My thoughts exactly Dean!!!! I'm just as confused.lol
