he's from Sumatra

the new place in brooklyn had 3 of them 2 in one tank and found another in a different tank.
all were eating exceptional color and fat

yes I took the shot while he was in the bucket yes the flash went off.
while I was dripping him he was very curious looking at me infact I was able to lightly pet him and he didnt get spooked.
I hope he gets along with the Asfur. I just put the lights on a tad early just to see how he is doing.

What type of food is it eating? I had mine in a refugium for about 2 months just to make sure he is eating all kinds of food. Getting them to eat and not being harassed by other fish is very important.

LFS had him labeled from Sumatra, his color is much more intense than Indo varity, indo ususally have a a grayish white patchjust before the doorsal fins.
he ate well in LFS, Nori on clip, and he fed him prime reef flake
he's in a larger population with an asfur angel I'll have to see how he does.
my Asfur didnt eat well in Q/T and did much better in main tank.

as we speak lights have been on for about 2 hours now Asfur is harrasssing him a bit but he's in an out of rock work

Sumatra is the northern island of Indonesia, it is still consider Indo. I thought all Indo variety have the gray chest, yellow are from Red Sea?
