eventful day!

hey all very eventful day today! I had planned on taking a trip into the 5 bourghs to pick up a nice cap from Max power planned on passing by Rich's house to pick up some SPS from him I commited to buy and pass by reef fantasy( I loaned chris my ASM G3 for his sps system). well I picked up the cap from Don and Eugene packed up nice in a large styrofoam box, I picked up my son and was heading to Rich's. This guy stops short I hammer the breakes and wind up rear ending him. there were no injuries, no damage to his car, my bumper is alittle out of alignment no biggie, after a brief discussion we decide not to report it and move on. time is running out I had to get my son to hockey practice in bayonne Sorry Rich I'll have to come by another time, monday??
I did get over to reef fantasy, It sucks that I cant make the sale tomorrow but he got in a bunch of awesome frags!!! and will be getting in some small colonies of ass'ted SPS. he has a load of fish and hawaii is coming in tomorow, I wish I could change plans buy I have a prior commitment.

to end the day off I get in and unpack he cap and find it in about 5 pieces!!! :banghead:
I glued most of it back together but I have about 6 quarter to half dollare size frags I'll offer up.
I'll take some pics of the cap and frags and post in another thread.

Frank, that great news. When ever I hear car accident and nothing happen, that is always good news. You even have extra frags for people.. I think it was meant to be frag and share among us..

good to hear everyone is o.k. from the fender bender, sucks that the cap broke....i saw it today at maxpower's house, that thing was HUGE!!!

make it grow to that size again.

Thanks all I just got out from under the car I did bend the renforcement for the bumper which is actually the bumper itself so I'm going to order a replacement.
yes no one was hurt no major damage, no insurance claim.

ouch, that turned into an expensive cap. you'll have plenty of room in the 450 to let all the pieces grow out.

I think I'm seriously going to start building the 450 in a couple of weeks.
Eileen wants to put a wet bar in the basement where my 180 is and we are trying to decide where to put the 450.

as far as help I never say no :lol:

I'm going to make the stand first so I have a platform to build the tank.
once the tank and stand are built I'll do the sump and hood.
My goal is have everything plumbed and tested and a one day switch over :sigh1:

I'll start a thread when I start to build showing progess
