The most energy efficient pump

What is the most efficient pump out there anyway? Since electricity has sky rocket, the more expensive and less wattage usage pump looked much more attractive now. I'm getting my a$$ kick from my parent running the bill up $100 per month now ...

So setting up my new tank, hopefully won't increase the bill to $150 or more .

Ok, back to the pump.. I know from hearing people talk about the red dragon pump is the most energy efficient pump out there now, i think.. But to find one or even thinking of buying one is not worth it. It cost 1-2k for the smallest pump. That is crazy... Or you gotta be filthy rich... heheh

I want to hear what you people think is the most efficient pump out there and your experiences.

you can try atk black devil. Same as red dragon (identical). I just dont know where it is available in the US. The other option is ofcourse getting the pump from Germany and running it on a transformer. Overall it still will not be cheap.

Pumps, lights, heaters..... I think you would be better off just chipping in to the elec bill man. Then they cant say ****!

red dragon is very expansive,but imo it worth every penny.. u can get them from captiveoceans.com
i have been running one for almost 4 month and very pleased with it.

this is NOT pressurerated pump,and i dont think u can run penductors of it..
i personally have rd-6,5 me3 and i have 2 seaswirls onmy return..work like a charm)
