Computer monitored aquarium

I remember reading about systems that could hook up to a computer so that they could monitor your tank and alert you via email or phone if something went bad. I couldn't find the thread when I searched though. Anyone remember this?

There are a few units that will do this or are expandable to the point of doing this. None of them will be cheap. The Elos controller (in piano black w/ a blue lcd screen btw) is by far the sexiest and runs just under $2700 with the full probe and monitor package and the SMS attachment for when your tank is feeling lonely and wants to call your phone and chat about it's calcium levels.

I have the Reef Keeper Elite and I can check my temperature, tank PH, Ca Reactor PH and the status of all of my pumps, lights, etc via RSS on my iPhone.

With ACIII or Pro, you can use an iPhone app or any web browser to access monitored tank conditions and make changes to controlled systems.
