Need Help

I was setting up my first semi large tank a 120 gallon. i filled it and test for salinity- no problem. I heard it is cheaper to seed your sand. So I added 30 lbs of live sand, 30 lbs of crushed coral and 100 lbs of fine playground sand (Sakrete) I now have 160 lbs of concrete!!!!

If anyone has a cure or extra live sand I would be very thankful

I think sakrete is a form of concrete .Thats why it turned to concrete

Take out everything and start over. Buy aquarium sand or playground sand that is approved for aquariums.

You don't need too much live sand to seed it, so you can cut back on that if it is too expensive.

I'd also recommend throwing out the water as well, who knows what chemicals are in there now.

Is it one big solid piece? If so you might not be able to savage the tank.
