I have two 60" uri super actinics in the front,
and two 48" uri actinic whites in the back.

the actinic whites are anything but white, they have a huge magenta cast to them that I hate.

I'm looking for a crisp white look, these bulbs are for viewing when the MH are off, which is most of the day, any idea's?

stingnyc recommended trying the uri aquasun.

You should try replacing the vho system altogether. Grotech and Giesseman have dimmable T-5s and T-8s which really enables you to simulate sunrise and sunset. I am refering to the system 60 sot the crazy expensive fixture

They do save alot on electicals. They arent cheap but no where close to the systems they have on Marinedepot. My favorite feature on this setup is they are dimmable from 0% ~ 100% and everything inbetween. Simulation of sunrise and sunsets is built in so you never shock your inhabitants into daylight again. You also have a could simulator in there which simulates passing clouds so occasionally it will dim. It can basically mimic conditions in the tropics.
