mh photo period

how long do you run your mh for i would like to try and run mine for less than 8hrs.

do you guys just run the PCs or VHO bulbs for the rest of the day then? I'd rather be able to see in a tank longer than 6 hours! especially since i don't get home until late...

i run my pc blues for 9hrs and my mh for 6 =1 1/2 blue then 6 hours mh then 1 1/2 blues

8 hrs MH (10pm-5am) / 14 hrs with actinics (7pm-9am)

6 hours of MH, 3.5 hours of actinics before and 1.5 hours after.
