Actintic/Bubble Tip

Will a Bubble Tip Anenomie be happy under only Actintic lighting ?

Mine was ok under just vho for over 6 months, but I've decided to turn on the MH. Started the MH about a week or so ago for 1 hr., so far I have not seen any difference. I will up the time to 1.5 hrs. this week, and see how that goes.

30 Gallon long , 2 39watt Marine glo T5 H/O

I'm not sure what the types of the T-5 bulbs are that have good color but also have good intensity are. Maybe someone else can chime in with the name. Aquablues or something like that.

I had a BT under pc`s and t-5`s in a 30 gal and saw no difference. I did feed it every two day`s w/a piece of frozen mysis and it seemed happy.

The two bulbs should be fine, but I wouldn't just run actinics.

I was under the impression that anemones actually need a tremendous amount of light. The ones we keep in our tanks just exist from the low to medium amount of light we provide.

PC lights will do just fine but you really need to fed your anemones. Most people under feed their anemones.
