so i just upgraded my light to the current orbit its the 2x250 mh and 4 39watts t5 and moon light my question since i got this fixture i notice that some of my coral like and some dont is too much light? do they need time to get used the new fixture am running the mah too long so far i run the mh for 5 hours and the t5 for the rest ne idea would helpfull thank u... by the way the fixture is 6" above my tank so i dont think it to close

If your previous fixture was less then 250, yes you need to get your corals use to the higher wattage.
Most use window fiber glass screen to do this. When I changed my fixture from 3X175 watt MH to 3X250's I put 4 or 5 layers of the screens, and removed 1 every week.;)

damn awi its like ur reef good u have a trick for every sittuation lol...oh and by the way i didnt have to make that trap to get them fish it only took me waiting till 4 in the morning to get them ...lol thanks for the info on the light

I'm glad it all worked out for you without the trap..... I'm not staying up all night to catch a fish.LOL My nights of staying up late are gone...lol
