Pepperment Shrimp not helping!

I bought two peppermint shrimps to help with my aptasia problem and it didnt work. Any other advice out there?

It takes time.... I recommend Aiptasia X. It works.

14 gallon biocube...lighting is LEDS i have the maxijet 900 and a koralia 1. I am only running purigen, rowaphos and filter floss. I havent posted in a while i forgot no one knows what I have.

Ant that Aiptasia X has alot of good reviews I hope my local fish store has it.

Try a mixture of kalk powder and water. Make a paste and put it directly on your aiptasia. Make sure you do a water change right after though.

I'm really not a fan of peppermints. Mine never touched the aiptasia and only attacked frogspawn.

i will take a picture when my lights turn on but this stuff is everyone
like out of control. I didnt buy anything yet or try anything other then my peppermint shrimps.

if its everywhere it will take time, how much liverock you got, remember you only have two shrimps to do the job...

If you want a fast solution, get the aiptasia X. Please usei t properly, in many instances people don't use it correctly and they let the Aiptasia release the spores. That's no good. Best $13 I ever spent.

I had 5 Peppermint shrimp as well, but it didn't help that my royal gramma ate 4 of them lol.

are you feeding the tank? peppermints prefer fish food over aiptasia anyday

Plain old white vinegar that you may already have in your kitchen cabinets, and a syringe will do the job.
That is what used on my gf's lr that were covered with the aiptasias. She had such a bad infestation that they were everywhere including her overflow box and u tubes.

Filled the syringe, injected the needle directly into their mouths, and pushed the plunger all the way. No more aiptasia.

Best part is that White Vinegar is super cheap.......
