BestBuy has it for $139. I bought it from Buy.com. It is the Linksys wireless-N camera. WVC80N.

I use my verizon FiOS wireless router. No other equipment needed. It is supposed to be a stand alone camera.

Get the PTZ version (Pan Tilt Zoom), that way you can move the camera around the tank remotely.

I am modifying my PTZ so the camera dome actually sits beneath the surface of the water so I can really see what is going on.

That's cool but probably cost a lot more. I just need something simple to take a glance at the tank when I am not home.

I don't know. Is your router wireless? And does it have more than one ethernet port? You can always hard wire it directly if the router accepts more than one ethernet device which I think it should.

You would need to buy a wireless router! we have those at bby too.

that really is awesome. just finished setting up my Apex online. with this there will be no need to ever go home if you can see and monitor and control the tank remotely.
