problem with coralife aqualight

i have the coralife aqualite 150w hqi setup i think its 5 yrs old.the hqi light

works great but the 2 power compacts dont work (they are new) i would put

them on and leave it on i get nothing, but for some reason they go on 3

hours after the hqi is on any help on this? thanku

Tony what do you have controlling the lights? If you are using one of those timers with the dial there is a possibility that you moved it and now they go on three hours later. Did you mess with your timers when we set the clocks back a couple of weeks ago?

i thought it was the timers so i took them off but it is still doing the same thing im not a electrician so i really dont know what to do anyway wats doing with u long time no hear

maybe when they come on they draw two much volt mine used sometime not light up the pc or fliker till the bulbs warm up i did plug the mh and t5 in my fixture in different outlet on different breaker since that no problem hope this help
