Hey Eric - good to see you found us :) Welcome to Manhattan Reefs!

As I mentioned on the phone, one of the first questions (see post above...lol) you will be asked is telling us about your set up.
Is this a reef tank or a FOWLR (fish only with live rock)? What are your water parameters - all that you call tell us, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, Calcium, Alk, Magnesium. I already know your PH is running about 7.8. Tell us the temp and Salinity as well please.

I also know you are using tap water (we gotta find you a ro/di unit!), but failed to ask if you are conditioning the tap water before you add it to the tank (with something to remove the chlorine from it).

One more standard question for now (there WILL be others! lol) - what are you feeding the fish?

You mentioned that you've lost quite a number of fish - over what period of time, and is there anything you can tell us about how they died..did they have any white spots on them, did they stop eating before they died, did they seem to be breathing heavily..anything you recall will be helpful!

That should keep you busy for a while! I'm going to see what my weekend is like and see if I can find the time to drop by and take a look at the tank..if it might be of any help :)
