what could be driving down my PH ...my reactors been off for a week-10 days now...im lost, i think i need some1 to come over and break down wats going on herejust a note thats confusing me, everything is great in my reef all colors, growth,no bleaching and fish seem very healthy (im sure i could make some more growth but who wouldnt)...im confused

main cause in tanks is CO2. There are several reasons that this can happen. The most common one is the calcium reactor not adjusted properly. This is one of the reasons why some reactors have two chambers. Another reason is that people turn off the calcium reactor but the CO2 from the bottle continue to leach into the tank.

If that is not the case you may just have excessive CO@ in your place. May not be enough to affect you but enough to mess with your tank. But my bet is that its something with the reactor.

michael i had the same problem for a while i just started to top off with kalk and now my ph is hi of 8.2 and a low of 8.0... you could try another chamber mrc sells one for $100.00 work with any reactor.. im going to get one after the holidays...

Could you add a small mesh bag of crushed corral to a HOB power filter to raise the PH

try the kalk top off like i said it worls good.. just monitor it for the first few days.. i use esv kalk. works great.. just make sure you do not breath in the it in very potent i learned the hard way.. also what is going on with the atlantis order
