This is awesome. I suggest looking into water changes with sea water to cut some long term costs. I'll donate some frags as well, come to the next swap, we'll be able to get a lot of members to pitch in.

Great project! I love to see more reefs on college campus'. Is this going to be on public display or setup in a lab/warehouse situation? Lots of frags heading your way when you are ready.

This is a huge school.. There is already a few large freshwater tanks on display.

u dont want to know what milking trout is i had to do it in my last lab of intro to fish and wild life with Professor Cornwall. the tank will be in Knapp hall which is the open to the public. Pootie we are also planning on putting a different saltwater tank in each of the 4 vice presidents offices and in the deans office and the presidents office hopefully each tank will represent a different Geographic location and style of reef its about a 2 -2.5 hour drive from Peekskill. with any luck i can make the frag swap into a field trip for the club

hey all we got the tank in last weekend we were luck they gave us a bunch of other things with the tank including the return pump all the plumbing around 300lbs of rock and the filters that they had used on the tank. unfortunatly they lowered the stand too much before they delivered it so the filters wont be able to be worked on from underneath the tank its only got one overflow box on one side but all in all its in good condition i just finished figuring out everything else we need because the plant science department ended up using the lights we were supposed to get for one of their own projects
